Abdul Baseer Samad, a Mechanical Engineering graduate, arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1975 and spent years building expertise with the world's leading equipment brands — Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cummins, Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, and more. He served as an inspector in the Used Equipment Department at Zahid Tractor Jeddah, the Caterpillar dealer in Saudi Arabia, and established used-equipment branches in Riyadh and Dammam.
In 1987 he launched his own import/export business, and by 2006 A.B.S & Sons Trading was formally established in Jeddah as a full investment enterprise. Today, operating from both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Canada, we serve mining companies, construction contractors, and infrastructure programs across the Gulf, North America, and beyond.
